The Beast Within Me Poem by mikal crawford

The Beast Within Me

Terrified as i wait app-on a misty night
As the moon light hits my body aggressively
My skin begins to heat like a tanning booth
And i experience pain like no other has before
The mass of my muscles start to extend
And the bones in my flesh is tearing my skin
My other half has awaken from it's daily slumber
This is my prime stage as teeth grow large from my face
As i stalk my next pray in a unformiller place
Ripping & tearing, Smelling & seeing
Blood staining walls as my victim is screaming
Howling with pride as i come alive
Battle between two-sides but one wants to die
Darkness fades into day a place i feel more safe
But i awake with no clothes in a abandon place
Blood covers my body with an unpleasant way
Flashbacks from last night brings horror and pain
Try running if you can as i can't out run you
The monsters children fear the most has now come true
Your what i crave most my other half calls for you
