The Batte For My Soul Poem by Levi smith

The Batte For My Soul

i went to bed with a cold heart, a cold soul.
I woke up frozen heard voices that inspired me.
i didnt know what the words were nor where they were coming from but i do know i heard the voice of my Lord.
My Lord and his enemy battled for a long while, battling for my soul.
the fight was no contest.
it was not won by the ruler of this earth.
But it was won by the one called I AM.
the one they call abba.
i was frozen stunned paralyzed still in the night of my bed watching hearing and eventually seeing how the argument took place.
all i can remember now is the indistinguishable voice of my celestial father the I AM.

An interesting write; I've written a poem with a similar theme. It's entitled 'New Age Spirituality'; perhaps you would enjoy it.
