The Aquaduct Poem by Anthony Foster

The Aquaduct

Towering arches of the aqua duct carry the old canal across the valley
Rising upward on its way to Llangollen where meets the foaming falls,
Back flows all the fresh water meandering down the way,
Which supplies the fresh water from which many a folk will slake their thirst?
