The Angel Poem by Juan Ruedas

The Angel

In the night it came to me
(it spoke my name it speaks to me)
In of it all come my angel of death
Speak to me once more speak my dead lost poetry
Dead yet alive a poets heart a mothers cry
a soul without salvation
(It spoke my name it speaks to me)
Lonely in a crowded world
Silent in my agony
Angel of death sing my name once more
Be my salvation save me from it all
For only in your arms have I ever felt wanted
