The Ancient Proverb Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Ancient Proverb

Rating: 4.5

The heat of the day!
The son of another woman,
The son of a prostitute,
Be on your guard! !
His daughter in marriage,
Her son in marriage,
In a city with gates and bars.

I am well advanced in age,
A man from Gath!
To bath my mind with the truth,
The path of peace and love;

A woman of Gate,
Muse, use, fuse, infuse!
Not to refuse the truth;

A weaver's beam! !
Stream,
Steam,
Cream,
The team;
In the valley of peace and love;
Like the skin of mine,
Yet! In the valley of Elah.

The ancient proverb,
With a Bronze Helmet on your head;
Muse,
More to it!
Into the forest of Hereth.

Sphere, atmosphere, where, here, there!
The Ancient Proverb;
The modern art,
The modern mind,
With the muse of the ancient order.

The modern proverb,
With Intelligence and Understanding;
Goats and sheep,
With the muse of a worthy person;
Today! You have repaid me with mercy.

A wealthy man,
To the stronghold!
Bold,
To behold the truth;
And to watch the battles of life.

The ancient proverb,
From the paws of the lion! !
From the paws of the bear,
Laws! !
Natural Laws;
Dressed for the battle and to bear the truth,
To the gates of Ekron.

Allowance,
Appearance!
Beautiful;
Early in the morning with your works,
With a sling and a stone,
Ready with your mind.

Take it to her,
Take it to him,
Sweet words from the heart of peace!
The heart of the truth,
With righteous morals;
Vowed with an oath!
The ancient proverb.
