The African Child. Poem by Hussein sani wurno

The African Child.

Rating: 5.0

is he the product of mother nature?
Or a research material of mystic vultures?
Or a symbol of African culture?
Or a human form without a nurture?

Is he just an outcome of human pleasure?
Or a prehistoric black race which needs no disclosure?
Just a little specie under pressure
Existing where there is no leisure

Supposed I thought is a special treasure
Not the product of zoo but lives in enclosure
His future far below measure
No sign of hope for a better pasture

Is the blame to mother nature or
to a clique of some human vectors?

Great poem. Rich in imagery and style. Wonderfully conceived. Very compassionate indeed. Liked it. I rated it 10/10. Please read and write my poem 'A humble complaint' on page 2.
