The Adventure Of Self Poem by James Darwin Smith II

The Adventure Of Self

Radiance, Sweet radiance
Bring forth all your sublime
Brighten up this face
Sweet radiance
Descend to me, sunshine

Too many tears from the clouds
Darkness all around
Coldness of self-imprisoned cells
Hearts once inhabited by Angels

Shine me dreams
Warmth of tender and care
Bliss beyond even bliss
Everything past today’s normalcy

So many storms created
Safe it feels for many
Traversed in provocation
Wanting chaos in dreams
As nightmares relish in victory

Positive forces come through
Shower me with compassion
Teach this soul never to feel burdened
Sprinkle golden knowledge of enlightened dreams
So nightmares can never be seen from again

Radiance, Sweet Radiance
Got to feel it all within
So when the sun does finally shine
I will be reborn, renewed, again

When the sun does finally shine
These positive shall forever be awakened

I shall solar the warmth against the coldest of times
So the sickness of darkness will never come again

I am one with warmth
On a mission to sublime

I shall always be residual with radiance
Fall in love with its changing winds

The sun will finally shine
I will be truly reborn, renewed, lost then gained

This may not happen overnight
But soon, I know it will truly begin

I will be truly reborn. Renewed, lost then gained

Why would I want to be lost?
So I can be truly be found again
