Thank You Mom Poem by Daleen Irshaid

Thank You Mom

Loving me from the first day i got in this world
Hugging me when its cold

Staying up late to feed me
Changing my diapers when i pee

Tearing when i first spoke
Teaching me how to walk

Singing me lots of songs
Punishing me when i do wrong

Telling me bed time stories
Taking away all my worries

You asked me to do my best
And to always be honest

You told me to stay true
You wanted me to be unique

You cared about the smallest things
You listened to the silliest things

You wanted me to keep my head up
You watched me growing up

What you've done is tough
Whatever I do, say to you wont be enough..
