Thank You Father Poem by Paul Adolphus

Thank You Father

Thank you O'Lord for the sun, the moon and the rain
I have my health and strength so I don't complain
Thank you for the air that I breathe
And for providing the things that I need

Thank you for the roof over my head
That shelters me from the rain
And my warm and cozy bed
Thank you for providing my daily bread
Thank you Jesus for your innocent blood that was shed

Thank you for giving me feet to walk
Eyes to see, ears to hear and a tongue to talk
Thank you for the clothes that I have to wear
For the breath of life and the clean, fresh air

There is so much I have to be thankful for
I can't count them all
The blessings you've bestowed upon me
have been like the rainfall
Thank you for the wonderful things you've done
And most of all for sacrificing your only begotten son
