Thank You Poem by Joe Smith

Thank You

Thank you
O great and nurturing mother.
For you brought life
to my door.
Thank you
for your blessings.
The many sequences
piece themselves together,
sometimes rather harshly.
But earlier during the rain
did I call for you,
hoping you would hear.
And O how your voice came
with a mighty roar.
Thank you dear mother
for releasing the bore.
