Thank You Poem by Oustine Hao

Thank You

Most my feelings lead
up to this one style
That is read out loud
It might take a while

Please just bear with me
As I thank you all
You lifted me when
I began to fall

What else can I say?
Simply wouldn't see
What my 'friends' wanted
Pain forced upon me

Yes, it is all true
Yelled at me although
Did nothing to them
Never loved me so

'You are stupid! And
real hideous too'
My, what have I done?
Or broken for you?

Have broken my heart
I didn't break their's
No, what have I done?
Damn, life isn't fair

But then I met you
And how can I show
Thanks for what you've done
Some deeds that none know

When I sat alone
I would just explain
Just where you have been
When I was in pain

If I were to hide
Behind soccer net
Two gave me a hug
Don't know what that meant

Orange cones around
Me when I'm hidden
Found me anyway
Silence forbidden

Or when I was hurt
Glued back to stay strong
My heart in pieces
Right instead of wrong

You guys are for real
Best friends ever had
How can I be hurt
With you, good not bad

I'm glad you won't leave
I beg you, do not
For me without you
My life to be caught

Caught in a fishnet
To be eaten whole
Or boil and brew
My weak harpooned soul

I'll stay by your side forever. Great use of language as well, ;)
