Thank You Poem by Faith Nzisa

When I feel pain, I will always remember you,
When am in high spirits, I will remember you,
When that ad plays, I will remember you,
When am angry, I will remember you
When the joy is too much, I will simply think of you.

For the simple things we shared,
I have learnt to appreciate people,
For the arguments and fights,
I have learnt to forgive and forget,
For the time we shared,
I have made a dear friend.

For me, it's not a dead end,
Life just started and this is why:

From you I have learnt to trust,
From you I have learnt honesty,
From you I have learnt love is a journey,
From you I have learnt friendship is forever,
From you I have learnt life is precious,
Thanks to you I see life in a totally different manner.
