Tent-Pitcher Poem by Jeff Hobbs

Tent-Pitcher

Logos Sarx Egeneto

Why are you lost
O dreamer of dreams
Sword scatterer,
Sad lover?

Is peace too much
to hope for
If ever the love shone forth

Have eyes of cynicism
pierced your drenched soul?

Has stone faded the sinews
of trust
Or rain bleached the bonds
of friendship?

Faith leads you on many
paths to God's own plan.
Whose map are you using -
so many have been given to you.

Take that which became flesh
live it, love it
become as it....hope in it.
