Temptation Poem by Mandy LaMotte

Temptation

If only you know the kind of urges I have.
If only you knew the secrets that lay beside me.
I hide it all good.
That's probably a good thing,
but could also be a bad thing.
If you knew,
you would take advantage.
I can't resist when the chance comes my way.
I myself can't even believe it.
I wish I could poof it away.
I can't say no to anything.
Sometimes when people find out,
They like to take advantage of it.
It's gotten me into some trouble before,
Some which I have to live with forever.
Some that are stuck with me.
I hate it I tell you,
hate it.
I don't know why I'm weak.
I don't know why I crave so much,
I just do.
I'm scared to find out what it will do to me one day.
I wish I knew but I don't want to all at the same time.
Why am I made like this?
Why can't I say no?
I know it's not hard but for some reason,
I just can't do it..
I just fall into my tempations.
