Tempest Poem by Alizon Kiel

Tempest

There are pools, rivers,
Oceans inside me
Doused and seeping
Mountains mirrored in my skin

Tides roll in
Wading to my waist
Flash flooded
Whelmed
I gasp

Underneath the weight of the current
Teems the tempest from the teacup
