Telling Tails Poem by Saul Palti

Telling Tails

There was once a blatant liar
formed of silk and rubber
passing messages from one to another
he said if you dont love me
then dont love me then dont love
for you have not enough
to give out to the few

he rode around in circles
on his black coated horse
performing such mericals
which he did endorse
the love of wine and drugs
he did swear by
always with a rug

he passed a note to Nicolas
the wanting passing stranger
that did read the end is closer
than you think
so give me your belongings
and be leaving
before you sink
