Tell me what life is
Is it something new?
Does it make you blue?
Tell me what love is
Lord give me a clue
Is it from above?
What did I do?
To not deserve you
Tell me what to do
Something to feel
Say it’s real
For a heart to heal
It’s as if I play a part
I can’t let you fool my heart
Should I be someone I’m not
Is it just good enough?
My heart should be free
Let me feel the real me
One day I will show them all
I will be loved for being me
