Teeth Poem by Andrew Matthews

Teeth

I just brushed my teeth
Although they are yellow
And broken.
Even when they were not
They didn't improve my smile
Or the words that I've spoken.

After meals and at night
And do it right.
Why didn't I listen?
I used to think that my smile
Was immortal.

They say ' If your teeth are white that bloke is alright '
And ' If your teeth are yellow there goes a lazy fellow. '
