Tears In The Rain Poem by Josefina Martinez

Tears In The Rain

The rain is pouring down,
In my tears, I drown.
After the rain, there will be a rainbow,
But let me be in this sorrow.

The rain glooms in me,
Stop talking and just leave me be.
Let me cry 'til the rain stops.
After that, there will be no more teardrops.

The rain symbolizes my tears
As I quiver with my fears.
Just let me cry 'til the rain stops.
After that, there will be no more teardrops.
