We blossom and flourished like leaves on trees, like the rising sun, warming eachother's heart with kindly care, for our surrender was complete. When the sun slept, I roamed fearlessly against the hard world, for thee received me not as a maiden would her lover. On us fell a busy silience, losing our forgiving nature, terrified by emptiness, persecuted by loneliness, for as easy as a poem to a poet, they prevailed against me.I smile with sorrow for my love was clothed with thorns, and thy eyes has ceased to see my tears, thy ears are deaf to my cry and my tears swamped the earth.Drunk by a spell of passion, I adored thee even in slumber, the sweetness of thy breath, the softness of thy lips, and daily I crumbled like an ancient wall, for each day was my death.I sleep restless with alcohol, for like ashes in d wind my dreams have become dust, oh! What a long night without sleep, and memories of days gone forever is our love's tale, but day-light dries my tears, and time bids me farewell, for it was the end of our passion.
end of our passions, thanks, I invite you to read my poems and comment and vote.
