Tangent Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

I am:
neither parallel with you
nor reciprocal to you!
neither a circle concentric with you
nor a parabola approaching you!
I am just a tangent
to the circle circumscribing your emotions
touching at the point of compatibility
where our thoughts are congruent
and feelings are same
the truth in real time domain
may be for a finite period
lasting for some odd seconds
or some even hours
resulting in thinking about each other
till it is disrupted
by some other activity.
