Tallest Building Obsession

I gazed you up before
thinking so untouchable

now I level up with your feet
as you subside your towering spirit

Impressed but not as lord of icon
never been overwhelmed by flashing lens
though seduced by naked fountains

you're not really the goddess of
all heights though you claim not
but a symbol to rekindle
all drying pens of the ineffable...
a statue to blend
the thousand spectators' thoughts
of the unutterable...

nevertheless, I never dream
of having such towering aspire
