Talking To Me? Poem by Ronald Speight

Talking To Me?

You scream in anger
In a cold empty street
I pass by only
To be disturbed

So I ask what is
Your problem
Only to be ignored
Or maybe yelled at

The streets aren’t the
Place for displaced anger
Feelings should be
Expressed

But those found to be
A nuisance
Discreetly; sounds of
Violence, sadness

Are those told
To ones who care
Not to be yelled
On my night stroll
