Talking Nature Poem by Maria C. Pires Costa

Talking Nature

Rating: 4.8

They stand still in majesty
The abundant green foliage
Covers them with beauty
Worth a rime of Coleridge.

They are bathed in sunlight
Spreading over as if with smiles
Greeting that wondrous sight
One would love to share across miles.

Small tufts of blossoming red flowers
Now are opening for their fruit
One takes care of in the afternoon's hours
Leaving us joyous and quite mute...

Nature is life, a condition that human and nature change and grows, This portrays nature in it's prime, so beautiful. Truly a remarkable piece of poetry.

This delightful peom would make a great sonnet. Have a read of my sonet 'When you consider nature all around you', I think it is similar.
