i live in the a.m.
before 5
false energy
keeps me alive
in a state of being
days i'm
prematurely seeing
run off the reel

such is life on the fringe
must let go
freedom of control
lofty billows sublime
nothing but fade
this time

apart from the blur
random thoughts
are all too real
spinning hamsters
on a wheel
they break down time
like liver enzymes
how much caffeine
can be consumed
into this existential vacuum
