Take Up Arms Defeat Covid 19 Poem by Terence George Craddock

Take Up Arms Defeat Covid 19

fear attains the ability to enslave
even when dwelling upon thoughts irrational
even in chain irrational thoughts imprisonment
irrational thought imprisonment is choking real
inhibiting life quality joy in chance daily pleasures

yes you could go out into garden
get stung by a bee at exactly 3.47 p.m.
on a Friday but chances are infinitesimal
yes you could be struck by a meteor in bed
while sleeping killed at 1.23 a.m. Monday morning

but these are irrational fears
why bother with irrational fears
yes you might catch COVID 19
you are more likely to traditional killer die
over 60 million a year die of top 10 killers

heart disease, stroke, lower respiratory infections,
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,
trachea, bronchus, and lung cancers,
diabetes mellitus,
Alzheimer's disease and other dementias,

dehydration due to diarrheal diseases
tuberculosis, cirrhosis
oh your suddenly afraid of these diseases
you were not afraid before fixated
on COVID 19 COVID 19 COVID 19

you even forgot home accidents kill
car accidents kill snakes bugs wild animals kill
but your fixated on media induced fear
the media drum drum drumming COVID 19
take the weight off your feet listen to nice music

turn off paranoia media peddlers of doom doom doom
you are not afraid of your car your bike your house
take a rest follow good advice get healthy healthy healthy
here is the key to good healthy living long life life life
relax don't stress take large doses of rest rest rest

prevention is better than cure cure cure
so why do you want to be sick take cure cure cure
you already know this stop smoking stop heavy drinking
stop over eating fatty foods fatty foods sugar sugar sugar
did you not know sugar is white killer sugar sugar sugar

stop being a couch potato get up walk walk walk
get a little healthy exercise exercise exercise
so you were sudden afraid of top ten society killers
the secret safe prevention improve your survival odds
life ticket extension is the same same same in most causes

smoke is a killer for lungs multiple organs
so here we go playing live longer improve your odds
it is easy safe start in moderation better than medical cures
medical cures can be drastic baby hey stop showing off scares
go to the gym is easier work off some fat less time in bars

we all know this get out exercising regularly
maintaining a healthy weight eating not plates
full of fatty junk food called junk for what reasons
a balanced healthy diet baby eat healthy baby
low in sodium high in fruits vegetables baby

here come the big no no no no's
avoiding smoking drinking in moderation
weak immune system boast itpoor air quality
wear a mask avoid places of infected people
reminder no smoking tobacco weed eliminate nasty chemicals

environmental factors diesel fumes move for better health
hey couch potato got your healthy diet going yet
remember high in fruits vegetables low in saturated fats
reduce meat dairy get high in sources of good fats nuts
olive oil lean fish eat your greens reduce your risk

eating healthy exercising is fun fun fun on the run run run
clean de house live in good healthy clean sanitary conditions
invest in clean water filtration to avoid severe symptoms
diarrheal diseases malnourishment can be alcoholic drinking
so we have done preventive cure have fun fun fun in de sun

did you not know anxiety stress fear lower immunity
employ a few health care tips live healthy properly
do not be obsessive afraid of COVID 19 obscene
good health health health is real wealth wealth wealth
go live long prosper happy ever after old age comes later
