Take Me Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Take Me

Won’t you take me up to the stars and hope to never come down, cause this is the best damn feeling I ever had. Would you ever love me, or could it be it’s my cold cold heart. Sometimes I just cry with no reasons why? , could you tell me that you want me and maybe I’ll forgive you from all of your sins. So take me up to the stars and never come down, don’t you take a breath and all you got to do is take me up to the stars. Thought I always knew the answer, but I guess I was wrong. So won’t you take me where I belong, just take me where I need to go. Did I ever do you wrong or maybe I was just a bad reflection of you, I just think we got off on the wrong foot. So do you think we could say sorry, or could this be the last sorry you will hear. Now just take me where I belong, just take me where the wind will blow and I’ll just keep moving on with this life of mine. So I guess this is goodbye, so I might leave you a letter. A letter saying I must go away. So this is goodbye for now.
