Take A Deep Breath And Love Poem by Casey Stewart

Take A Deep Breath And Love

Wake up with the lights on
It’s not exactly fear, its loneliness
Your time here has expired
And your ready to leave
4 more months and out the door you’ll run
Leaving behind all the good and bad
For what it was worth you learned
That you need some company to be happy
So take a deep breath and remember who it is your fighting for
Though she might be hours away,
The love you share will always bridge the gap
In her arms, all the dark looks like light
Against her skin, obstacles become footsteps
Her smile is a vcr that only plays joyful childhood memories
Stop all the worrying and you can see
That its magic when she’s around
The lights are on because they can lead her home
The tears are no longer shed because you have hope
That she will return someday soon
Her existence is the bible for this atheist
The first woman I’ve fallen in love with
She is there for me
Its time to take a deep breath and love
