The gentile, rythmic beats of rain echo from the pavement
The muffled rush of cars sounding in the distance
A familiar book entices the mind of its reader
A soft, warm bed refreshes the body
Thoughts flowing in and out of the conscious mind
A shining whisp of knowledge glows bright,
revealing a moment of everlasting patience and understanding
Winds have changed, too often to count,
but let them stop... to ponder where they will blow next
In this moment, the world has stopped, all events
have been laid bare, for the soul to see
This hour is for balance and reflection
Emotions and thoughts intertwining as one
For this is the essence of the spirit
and the beating heart, with the mind as a bridge
This feeling, is that of life, of existence
This is poetry, the light of humanity
