Table. Poem by Daniel Y.

Table.

The giant tortoise
whose back carries
the egalitarian plains.
The crocodilian cards hide
beneath the glossy surface.

Six pairs of eyes:
the giraffe-riders.
Stealing from others’ nests.
Grabbing with their sloth-claws.

Life is mao.
