and so I write
the days long in mind
weighing heavy

yet we breathe

and still the world will sway
things don't go our way
on this rocky earth we stay

yet we fly

my soul lifted
in the nick of time
my spirit soared
never felt this fine

yet we suffer

To all the evil
I say come forth
to all the joy
that ignites the torch
experience permeates in every way
don't fight for better
give it all away

yet we combine

this time we walk together
hand in hand
justice reveals herself
in the infinite sand
on God's infinite time
letting go
we forever ride the wave
on this violent earth
we forever change

yet we love

the way God loves
nothing separate
all is free
I fight for you
as you fight for me
