Symphony Of Love Poem by vishaka subba

Symphony Of Love

Rating: 5.0

They knew it was going to be hard, as he was of a different caste and she was from another.
Yet they chose love over the barriers of society..
Deep in the ocean of faith, they continued their eternal love.
For he was the other name of commitment and she was a synonym of care.
He was like a cool breeze of love, gently increasing her fire of passion, making her reciprocate her love even more.
She had the body in which his soul resided and he had her heart which was kept safely somewhere near his..beating at the same pace.
He, who had never loved someone, loved her so dearly like the way he had always wanted to be loved.
She was shattered by many but she managed to love him with all those broken pieces as his warm touch healed all the cracks of her wrecked soul.
Her actions reminded him of his caring and affectionate mother and he resembled a responsible father to her.
He was her best friend with whom she could be 'the crazy real she' and she was his soulmate for whom he had waited for years.
They laughed, they cried, they quarrelled, played tricks on each other.
They were each others' home for home is not a place to stay but a feeling that dwelled in their hearts.
Nothing could make them give a second thought their unshakeable relation as Almighty, Himself gave them ways to go through any pain.
Hoping for the best, they walked on their path called 'Life', blindly yet guided by their pure heart.
What remained in front of them was an untold future.
A question ticked in everyone's mind-'did that path lead to an utmost happiness or an unbearable pain? '
The answer remained a suspense.
So till then let him wait for her another prose-poem.

In a caste ridden society, this has always been a critical proposition. This kind of a romantic affair is pure, fair and ideal. But, given the hypocrisy of our society, this is met with resistence no end. Thanks. ....his warm touch healed all the cracks of her wrecked soul. ....home is not a place to stay but a feeling that dwelled in their hearts.
