Sweet Reality Poem by Amanda Strickland

Sweet Reality

Silence now
Hush your voice
Stand still
Like you have a choice

The chilly wind
Blows your hair
Truth is your expression
That cold blank stare

Your icy eyes
Your thin lips
Mouth the lies
You're trying to play a game

Only you can win
You cry out to get free
Just so you
Can break free to see
Your sweet reality.
