Sure Footing Poem by Timothy Branch

Check your footing. Gospel shod feet is for sure footing. God left it all for our sure footing. At times spoken words show a lot about our footing. But it's an individual thing to check ones own footing. Check it when you check it against truth, that's the only way to hear truth. That's how faith comes. From truth to sure footing the deceitful hide and run. Truth which confronts us all and bears witness with the hidden things inside us. But no worries, no worries God will address all and collect the surefooted. He will address us on the very issue of footing. Check your stance. Check, check and recheck your stance. Against truth that is. All professing to do so will be the first of all whose footing is checked. Barely shall the righteous footing pass the test. Truth will lay questions of any hidden things to rest. Footing will be checked. Yea Lord, yea Lord, footing will be checked. Sure footing will gain you eternal rest. Walk circumspectly in accord with truth now. That's the easier way to be identified then anyhow. The Son of God is Truth. If He knows you now surely He'll know you then. Judgment will come by way of examining us all by the Truth. See how fruitful having sure footing is now? There is usefulness of sure footed now. How else does one do it with God lest you get to know the Son now? With Him truth beget right fruit according to your offering. In His sight, it's all about truth. Feelings in that day will get scores of people, yes good law abiding, nice people hurt. The day of reckoning, will be no place for those without sure footing. With God, selfish offerings of thoughts, opinions absent of His truth gains absolute darkness for those who shunned the sure-footed truth.
