The good things in life...
Isn’t that all we ever wanted?
But the good things wouldn’t really be that good
If the bad hasn’t happened.

You may be feeling like life is unfair
But try reflecting on this, my dear.

When the darkness has covered you up again,
And you feel like giving up because of the pain,
Remember that the rainbow is a beautiful thing
But it only happens with both sunshine and rain

Yes, the rainbow only happens with both
Sunshine and rain.

So don’t raise that white flag just yet.
Don’t turn your back on what is ahead.
There’s a land promised for you to take.
And it’s waiting for you at the end of this race.

Whenever you see that your road is heading down,
The only way up comes once you erase that frown.
See that life isn’t complete without the lose and gain.
Yes, the rainbow can only happen with both sunshine and rain.
