Sunlight Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Sunlight

'Sunlight, Sunlight
Where's my Sunlight? '
I called out into
The beam-less space.
Black light offers
Itself to me
But I shake my head,
I want my Sunlight.
Devoid of reason
Inept, strength amok
The white snow
Is making me cold.
Sunlight, come to me
Make me warm
Always be around,
My precious heaven
Precious baby Sunlight.
