Sunburn Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Sunburn

The stars seem distant tonight
finding serenity within theirselves
as they watch the asteroids clash
under the heaven sky
mere diamonds that splash
upon the champinege chuckles
of plutos laughter
tasting the arctic cold
that forsakes the warmth
of an angel's touch
teasing to become one
under the sands that scorch
against the hell fire of the suns
passion
depressed that it's touch may
never be held the way it deserves
to be
