Sun Poem by Mubashir Naseem

Sun

See the sun has eaten its own flesh
Bleeds akin waterfall in summers
burns like desert in summers
And has killed the moon too
For her steadfastness for truth
For her adoration for stars
The stars who never die as He testifies
For the love of the moon
Shadow of the moon has to pay the price
As she is blinded-maimed by lightining tortured by thunderstorm beaten by rain and booked under clouds.
Though the moon joined her adored stars and shines in limitless sky
Yet the shadow is locked up in heavy chains
Sometimes behind gaint hills sometimes rendered in brutul chill
I am taking pity on her as no one seeks no one pains about her
Like human psyche has turned black.
Yes the shadow lives death either at home or at hospital or behind bars
Cursing her fate with no hope
Cuddling God in her hands for the pitiless unethical and oppressor.
