Summer Time Poem by Sandeep Gundher

Summer Time

It was summer time and people were having fun,
Winter was finally over and uncovered was the Sun

The Boston river melted and the boat was out,
Children jumped into the street, we could hear them shout

Amidst all these stood out a little charming girl, Dancing in the Square with her diligent swirl

Looked angelic in the White frock she wore,
People could do nothing but do adore

There was something spiritual in her dance,
I got amazed with her single glance

It was not about movement but her expressions,
Little tiny being filled with so many emotions

The eyes emitted rays of divinity,
Her vibrations filled nature with the purity

I pinched myself to check if it was hallucination,
But it proved to be so real and not my imagination

The scene was nothing but a wonder,
Her mere presence made the world look splendor

Lost in the scene I forgot about the time,
It's time to return home said the clock chime
