Summer Sun Poem by Undiscovered Legend

Relaxing in the summer sun with the girl of my dreams,

My head doesn’t know but my Heart seems to know what this feeling means.

I don’t know if I’m warm from the sun hitting my face,

Or if it’s from this beautiful girl laying in my arms while we rest at this place.

I stare Into the beautiful blue sky,

But then I blink, and realize I’m looking deep into her eyes.

And before I said it, She said “I Love You.”

So I kissed her on the forehead and said “I Love You Too.”

We both lay back and close our eyes,

And fall asleep beneath the warm summer sky.

3 hours later I awake from where I was,

Hoppeing to still be holding the girl I once was.

So I turn to my right and see she’s not there,

It’s a feeling I can barely stand to bare.

I’m so confused, I don’t know what this means,

So I lay back down and realize it was all just a dream.
