He was a Sultan
From Gowa Kindom
In South Sulawesi
His heroic struggle
Against the encroachment
Of the Dutch East Indies Company, VOC
Which coveted the Sultanate’s
Rich agricultural lands
The VOC brought in additional troops
And sacked the Gowan fort at Benteng Sombaopu
Forcing him to withdraw
He died in the year 1698
