Suited For Poem by Ima Ryma

Suited For

Rating: 5.0

Expensive fancy garb I wear,
A public image I must keep,
Perfectly coiffed and well sprayed hair,
I cannot afford to look cheap.
But in private I do dress up
In colored hats and floppy shoes,
With lots of facial makeup, yup,
And clothes of varied forms and hues.
I like to dress up like a clown,
And look at myself in a mirror,
From ev'ry angle, up and down,
In wild and zany fashion gear.

A clown suit is suited for me.
A politician I do be.

A convict's stripes would perhaps be better.
