Suitcase Full Of Dreams Poem by Nicola Kelly

Suitcase Full Of Dreams

Suitcase full of dreams

Packing my bikini, shorts, t-shirts and,
Sun cream, just a few of the,
Essentials for two weeks of fun,
A girly holiday in the sun.

Boxes, bags and cases everywhere ready,
To move into our new home,
Having not lived together before,
Just know he's my forevermore.

Taking my wife and beautiful new,
Daughter home today and with,
A case filled with tiny things,
As a new chapter begins.

Laptop, tablet, books to pots and,
Pans packed away in the car,
Taking my son on this journey,
To his new life at University.

From the day we are born,
To moving into a new home,
Throughout our lives it seems,
We pack a suitcase full of dreams.
