Suicide? Be Not Dismayed Poem by Luke Easter

Suicide? Be Not Dismayed

Please, do not be dismayed,
Yes, the promises are on the way,
Cream, will always rise to the top,
Not, if you keep making the boat rock..

No one knows what’s beyond tomorrow,
Unless of course you plan for sorrow,
Do you want the best only God can bring?
No matter how it looks, His praise you sing.

He will forever be the God of all,
No matter what situation, how large or small,
For surely His only limitations,
Are based on your own expectations.

Sometimes when it’s cloudy and dark outside,
You’ve a long way to go without a ride,
More ashamed to show and afraid to hide,
This is why so many commit suicide.

Now is the time to dig in deep,
God give me strength where I am weak,
Push forward my faith when all else fails,
A Locomotive on brass hardened rails.

A headless horseman on a midnight run,
Unable to stop until the job is done,
Dear Lord I cannot do it by myself,
Now more then ever I need Your help.

I can no longer tell wrong from right,
Stuck in this room is it day or night?
The walls around are closing in,
With demon voices about to begin.

One is too many to be in this state,
Holidays are the highest suicide rate,
Spread your blessings no matter how small,
The birth of Jesus is for us all.
