Suicidal Believer. Poem by Imogen Lee Greene

Suicidal Believer.

You weren't mental before
Now there's therapy to attend.
Although you've been on the edge
countless times before.
It's not your life if you
spend it trying to pretend

So many times you felt,
Unwelcome in this world.
Ending it?
Could of done it.

Maybe you should of
Maybe, the truth is
You can't
You believe

If there is anyone there
Then He's playing you

Gawwwd, please, if you exist
give a reason to continue
this Life

Waiting to grow old
Because this life is
evaporating you're feeble soul
But you don't mind spending every second
contemplating the edge

So many times you've felt on the brink
of reality

You peer in the mirror and wait for Him
to tell you you're real.

You'll still be grasping at straws this time tomorrow
All you need is a purpose
Some guidelines for you to follow
