Sugar High Poem by Ryan Frenrey

Sugar High

The other high, sugar high
Taste bud’s, in the sky
Glucose, floods the veins
Overcrowded, colliding lanes
Best high, costs cheap
Jumping jacks, in my sleep
Living boundary free
Funny feeling reality
Addicting hyper-activity
Sugar quenching sanity
Superhuman energy
Burning fuel efficiency

Feeling of a balloon
High strung, could pop soon
Up in, the atmosphere
Fantasy, is everclear
Levitated, concentrated
Out-of-body, elevated
Anywhere, I can fly
The other high, sugar high
