Across the globe they suffer
Weakness sums up their days
They have a body from which there is no escape
The daily routine does not include many smiles
Mostly tears on strained faces
Yet their willpower astounds mere mortals
Across the globe they pray for a release
Whilst loved ones watch in awe
Seeking a solution
Finding none
And weep
Whilst they are inwardly torn
A door on their world perpetually ajar
Waiting for someone to enter with a better plan
That door never closes
Like their minds
Yet still they carry on
Across the globe
