look into my eyes
can't you see I'm crying out
I hide behind a smile
I can feel the pain of doubt

and if you would hold me close
you could feel the brokenness inside
you would know I feel alone
I feel empty

you'll listen to me now?
silence is my only sound
I'm a little scared
I'm afraid of falling further down
maybe if you let me know
and gave me just a little hope
somehow id be ok

but never tell me
you can help
don't try to fix me
because I'm not broken
just leave me be so
I can suffer
