Sudden Change Poem by Seun Bewaji

Sudden Change

You had been the arm
That holds me while falling

You had been the ear
That listens to my empty words

You had been the mouth
That spoke on my behalf

Your very gracious eyes
Had over look my fault

Your words was soothing
When I was fainting

But suddenly you change
When I need you most

Your gaze became wild
Your words became harsh

You striped me naked
To expose my shame

I gave you my trust
You thrust me with sword

I regret all your gesture
As you suddenly change
