Strangers On The Street Poem by Shyam Soman

Strangers On The Street

Rating: 5.0

Sparkling in a ray of light
I see you far, in my sight
No words well written to utter
Nor gestures to make you flatter
Just like strangers on the street.

I walk along your path,
Empty without any wrath.
I can't say a word, nor can you
Just the distance within grew,
As I doubt which heart weighs more
Wish we could measure the sore.

But no start do I find
From where to measure on.
So I walk along your path
By the dim, moonlit strath,
A glimpse of sight at the other
Just like strangers on the street.
